The owner and the manager of Utila Jungle Eco Lodge is Marina Ocampo, retired environmental manager from Montreal, Canada. She has been a resident of Utila for almost two years. Before coming to Utila she lived and worked in Cambodia, Canada, India, Switzerland, USA, Philippines and Yugoslavia. She wrote her Master’s thesis on eco-tourism and her goal is to work on preserving Utila’s environment one tree at the time.
